Advent Calendar ~ Day 9

So today I want to just say how beautiful it is that both the angel trees in the stores here in town are bare. It seemed a day or so after they got put up they were bare. This year Malaki is on one of those time of lists so I did not do as I usually and make sure I had one. 

Tho Malaki is not in the Angel tree but fir Toys for tots, 

Toys for tots was always so much fun growing up because the High School here does a huge fun raiser the last week of school and it is huge!! One year I was nominated for "Kiss It" and what that was, was I was given a can and had to go around collecting money and was competing with guy in my class... I thought I was going to lose for sure! But I had one of my dear teachers who knew she was losing the competition between her and another teacher donated all her earnings to me to keep me from having to kiss it.. Now "It" could have been a dog, pig, fish, some ones nasty feet, or whatever else they had planned... 

I have seen many acts of kindness and many Miracles happen around this time of year and just was to use day 9 to thank and honor those that take time out of their busy lives to make sure some one has a beautiful holiday! 

Like I would love to that the person that made sure I could come home for Christmas when I was in collage. And the people who left boxes full of Christmas dinner and gas money for me to get back to college,, and gifts for elisabeth on our door step.
