I started back up with the "Canyon Singers" it's so nice to be singing again I really have not sung in so long, not since my first year of college. Ya I sung karaoke, but that was not really me singing to my fullest.. Really those who have not heard me sing on stage as a real performance have no idea what I can do. Haha I am not trying to brag or any thing just stating that karaoke is a total different world than actual performance. And also there is something about those bright lights shining on me and the knowledge of many people in the darkened seats that sends thrills through me and I sing to my best, with a voice only heard at that moment of pure excitement, nerves and fear. My best work is not in the practice room but on stage. No I never really went anywhere with my singing other than turn down a small scholarship to juliart ( due to lack of funds) but I still love to sing.. It lifts my soul so.
