Memory lane
I was living in my grandmas old house my room was pink, I had imaginary " little people ", 101 of them, I spend most of my day hanging in the old peach tree in the back yard or building tunnels in the sand box. I played with the little boy that lived on the other side of the fence, he liked to try to steal kisses. Grandma read me my history, mom taught me math, I could not wait for daddy to get home from work. Summers were full of camping and fishing.. I would sneak out to star gaze then get scared if the dark and run back inside. My dog rusty followed me around and would eat currents with me. I was scared of the laundry room due to seeing a pig hanging in there to be bbqed.. I would ride my big red and green wagon down hills , I loved digging in the dirt looking for dinosaur bones, I actually had a few. I had light blond hair dyed by the sun, my teddy bear went everywhere with me. Spending time on a computer meant school work, I could not wait to get outside. There was no telephone in the house had to use pay phones. I loved talking to the neighbour, mud was the best! Christmas was too short. I had too many teddy bears to count. I was young and free.
